Merry Christmas 2011
Happy Birthday Jesus! Thank you Lord for coming to earth as a baby, teaching us how to live and who our Father in Heaven is and then dying on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins. Thank you for overcoming death and rising to life three days later showing all the earth that you alone are the Son of God and the intercessory for us to God. We do not need any human to mediate our prayers and confessions of sins to God. We need only to pray to you, Jesus Christ, and you intercede on our behalf with our Father in Heaven. Lord may we be a blessing to you today as a gift to you for all you've done for us. Amen.
Jesus came to serve and save the lost. (Matthew 18:11) This example of humility and selfishness was a model for us all. Even secular magazines quote research that notes we feel better when we help others. If today you are sad, lonely, bitter or angry, ponder your life. Are you a humble servant of others, grateful person, thankful friend, gracious host, one that puts others first and your needs last? Or do you want what you want when you want it, are you only happy when things go your way, do people often annoy you, or do you never go a day without complaining? Gratitude is an attitude. Our emotions are a choice. No one makes you mad, glad, happy or sad without your will in the matter.
Choose Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and He will send the Holy Spirit into your heart to assist you in changing your ways. Before becoming a Christian, I struggled with a number of sins and habits that were not good for me or for those that knew or loved me. When I asked Christ to come into my life, forgive me of my sins and make me a child of the Most High God, He did it and I haven't looked back. I realized what the term "born again" meant after that, I was a new person-not perfect by any means-but saved by a perfect Savior, redeemed as an adopted child into God's Kingdom. As a child of Holy Royalty, when I died He will invite me into Heaven to live for eternity with Him. I will get to rule and reign with Him in the New Heaven and the New Earth He is preparing.

Ask Jesus into your life today and the angels in heaven will sing Glory to God in the Highest. You will be a gift to God on His Son's birthday. He loves you and wants you to choose Him. But He won't force you, He wants you to make the choice according to your own will and then He will bless you with His will for your life as you abide in Him. Praise God for the gift of redemption and salvation today!!! KT
As we were cooking breakfast this morning, we heard gift wrap tearing and found Abby under the tree opening just her presents!
Serve one another in love. Galatians 5:13
Abby is so funny!
