All is Well

     When I was a brand-new Christian, the woman who led me to the Lord introduced me to the book, God Calling by two anonymous authors, edited by A.J. Russell. The book spoke into my life just the words I needed to hear about God's faithfulness, just when I was running out of steam to go on. The cover is tattered and the pages yellowed with age, but today I happened to see it on the shelf after a day that had simply worn me down.      The entry for today, March 25, read as follows: Wonders Will Unfold~I AM with you. Do not fear. Never doubt My Love and Power. Your heights of success will be won by the daily persistent doing of what I have said.       Daily, steady persistence.      Hello my friends, I've missed you. I've missed me! I took on a difficult job that evolved into an even more difficult other job, and my life as I knew it, disappeared into my work. That being said, what else would I do if I wasn't doing it? Even though some jobs are hard to do, it doesn't mean we haven't been called to do them.      Convenience has become an excuse in our lives to not do what God has planned for us to do. We often note we don't have enough time, energy, or resources to complete our calling. But the big picture, doesn't need us to approve of it or grant our favor on it. It will be accomplished with or without us. God is looking for a few faithful volunteers. He tells us He'll supply all of our needs according to His purposes.      So like Moses, we can sit around telling God how we don't have the speaking skills or leadership qualities to do His will and waste time wandering around trying to find "our passion" in lif...
