Prayer for God's Women

     We are putting on a two conference for women in leadership at our church today and tomorrow. Of course, we've spent many hours preparing, meeting and discussing plans and yet not nearly as much time together in prayer. Again our mindset, although not intentional, is that getting these ladies trained and getting this workshop together depends solely on us. Ironic for a Christian women's group, right? Well, not so much, as Christians we often get the attitude that God simply can't do "it" without us. We must do something!
     Here's my prayer for our women today:

Lord, our prayer is to be Titus 2 women who will:

Grow in godly maturity,

Have the attractive aroma of Christ,

With cups overflowing,

Pour out love to others,

Plant seeds of salvation,

Then having planted, nurture growth,

Remembering always to give You the glory for the harvest. Amen.

Titus 2:3 Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. 4 Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.
