Just Be You!

     Struggling with some issues lately, I prayed for God to bring me His peace and insight. He did both. While I sat peacefully waiting to hear from God, what I heard was, "Just be you. Quit striving." The thoughts brought tears to my eyes. He seemed to be encouraging me to just relax and live in the now. Content in His presence. Content in the present. What a gift to rest in the Lord!

This flower was given to me by a friend and tries to die on any given day in the AZ heat. I watch for wilting and add water. It perks right up! It's beautiful and tough, weak and strong, like so many of us at any given time in our lives.

Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
