Life's Lumps
Today is Saturday and the doctor's office left an automated message for my husband to retrieve regarding a recent CAT scan on his lungs. After listening to the message, which said the scan indicated a nodule on his lung and a referral to a pulmonary specialist, we both felt a bit stunned. Now what do we do with this information for the entire weekend and until we can get into the doctor and get more information?
What do we do with life's lumps? We begin with prayer, we send out prayer requests on email, I'm asking you who might read this to please pray and now?....We wait... and worry! I know, we're not supposed to, but the unknown is always so scary, even when we know God knows the big picture and has our best in mind. We still worry, it's a weakness of ours and we both do it quite well.
Lord, please bring us your peace and reassurance in this time of questions without answers. Please lay your healing hand upon Bob's lungs. May he be in your hands and touched according to your will. Amen.

I am so praying for Bob. As I was going to drop off your stuff, I was a little amazed that he asked me in and wanted talk about it. I could tell he was searching God for help with anxiousness and I loved how open he was about it. Now, I'm praying even harder. He is such a good man. And I'm sure the Lord isn't done with him for a long while. Bless you too Kate I'm praying for your heart and stomach.....God is good all the time.....just hard to see what He's doing.
