Lifeline
I got a call today from a friend that our mutual friend was in lockdown at a local high school. She spent several hours in a hot stuffy room with nearly a hundred teenagers waiting to be released. (A shooting nearby caused the emergency situation.) She has claustrophobia. My friend noted that looking back, only God got her through this difficult situation.
I wonder how many times God gets us through difficult situations and we don't know it or recognize His hand at work in our lives. Another friend and I were talking about how the more problems we experience in life the easier it is to have hope when the next trying times come. I believe God is "growing our backbone" with each problem we overcome and especially when we lean on Him and give Him the glory.

Call out to God when you need a lifeline, He is willing and ready to help.
