Off the Deep End

Due to recent medical issues, we've been having doctors' appointments, tests and errands for prescriptions, etc. fill our days. We had other plans this month, to travel and see family, but current health concerns have changed all our plans. So I've been praying that God just arrange our days according to what He knows is best in the big picture.
Today as I was canceling plane tickets, checking on trip insurance, swapping dates for medical procedures and all the rest, I just kept reminding myself that God is in control of our calendar. Normally, this kind of insurance stuff and rescheduling sends me off the deep-end! My husband said a couple of times, "You really did a great job with all of this today." He noticed that I wasn't doing a "swan dive" off the high dive too:)
Life sometimes just gets messy!
James 4:13 Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15 Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”
