Doubt
Doubt can be debilitating. I appreciated the article written by Russell Helwig, Doubt is a given for everyone, in the Arizona Republic Newspaper today. Here's an excerpt from the column, "Doubt causes us to stop moving forward, inhibits us from believing in our dreams and goals, and can cause us to give up and retreat from those things we want to accomplish." How many of us at times have questioned our purpose and direction in life?
The Bible talks about doubt as well:
Matthew 21:21~Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.
Hebrews 11:1~Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
Although I may not know what my future brings, I know who holds my future in the palm of His Hands. I may doubt my ability to make things happen, I can rest assured God, no doubt, has a plan. (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

James 1:6~But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
Love that verse. I too struggle with doubting....and with being patient. I'm glad God already has everything perfectly timed out to the best conclusion we will face. Love you.
