Rutter
Our tongues are equated to rutters on a ship in the Bible. A small rutter can turn a big boat. A small tongue can turn a whole body. I'm trying to remember daily that the words on my tongue will guide me through the waters of my day. I can float on rough, raging waters or smooth, calm seas. The choice is primarily my own.
James 3:4 Look at the ships also, though they are so great and are driven by strong winds, are still directed by a very small rudder wherever the inclination of the pilot desires.
My goal is to not start any fires. Slowly learning how to think instead of jump on top of bandwagons I shouldn't even be on....
