What I Do
A friend at work loves being outdoors. She drinks in nature while riding her bike, swimming, and walking. She bundles up in the winter so she can drink coffee out on her patio before heading off to work. In the summer, she wakes up at the crack of dawn to exercise outside before it gets too hot. I teased her today about her early hours and she replied, "I do what I have to do, to do what I love to do." I responded, "I love that."
Mornings come much too early for me and evening doesn't seem long enough. My priorities often get muddled and soon my day is gone. Time lost, never to be retrieved. Opportunities gone, never to be seen again. I miss the Lord and don't spend nearly enough time with Him, but it's no one's fault but my own. I don't claim my time or own my hours. I fritter them away and end up doing not what I love to do, but rather only what I have to do.

Romans 7:15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.
I'm there with you...but I know you and you'll be back loving your time with Him soon. So will I,
