Out of Hope

     Recently as a young woman, who has had her share of trials said, "I'm running out of hope. I'm feeling hopeless," my heart melted for her. Zechariah 9:12 says, about the returning Messiah to Zion, Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you.
     A world of good intentions and positive thoughts will not restore the hope that comes from believing in Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. Sometimes even I struggle with thoughts of hopelessness and I know God is with me. I don't ever want to think back to the days before I knew the Lord and wade into those murky memories of a life lived without the One who will restore me twice over on day.
