Volunteers
Hello my friends, I've missed you. I've missed me! I took on a difficult job that evolved into an even more difficult other job, and my life as I knew it, disappeared into my work. That being said, what else would I do if I wasn't doing it? Even though some jobs are hard to do, it doesn't mean we haven't been called to do them.
Convenience has become an excuse in our lives to not do what God has planned for us to do. We often note we don't have enough time, energy, or resources to complete our calling. But the big picture, doesn't need us to approve of it or grant our favor on it. It will be accomplished with or without us. God is looking for a few faithful volunteers. He tells us He'll supply all of our needs according to His purposes.
So like Moses, we can sit around telling God how we don't have the speaking skills or leadership qualities to do His will and waste time wandering around trying to find "our passion" in life. Or we can submit to God's plans and allow Him to provide not only the time, energy, resources, but also the passion to complete whatever He has put into motion for our lives and His Kingdom and Glory.

2 Corinthians 9:12 This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.
This flower was a "volunteer" in an empty pot, that as far as we knew only had dirt in it, until the rain came. The water of our living God can create beauty in the most unlikely places, out of nothing.
Well said. So glad you're back. I've been looking for your post. They are such a blessing.
