Saving with Coupons

     I love a good coupon! My friends know that most of the time I'll have a coupon handy for lunch or shopping. There's a new trend though in coupons that is a bit disheartening for me…electronic coupons. I suppose for the tech-savvy it is more convenient, but for people like me, I like to clip the coupons from the paper. Maybe it reminds me of making paper dolls with my grandmother, I really don't know, but sitting down on a Sunday clipping coupons is comforting to me.
     The question from my friends, "Are you really saving money or just wasting time?" I guess it depends on which of the two, money or time, you have more of as to whether coupons will work for you or not. If you have lots of money, why bother, but if you have limited money and lots of time, why not?
     In the end, time nor money will make a bit of difference when it comes to entering the gates of heaven. But saving will be of uppermost importance, because to get into heaven you must be saved through faith. All the money and time won't matter, but simple faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross will be your "coupon" into eternal life with your creator God. That coupon doesn't come in paper or electronic form, it comes through your words of belief saying: Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, I am a sinner. I know you died so that I could live eternally with You. Please forgive me of my sins and come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. Thank you! 
     God's saving grace is as easy as you saying and believing the words above for your new life in Christ Jesus. He will now show you through His Holy Spirit that will now indwell you and guide you in the days to come. Pray to God, read His word in the Bible, and trust that you are now forgiven from your past and move forward boldly into your future as a follower and servant of the Most High God.
