Lose Your Head

My friend, Helen, sent me this scripture recently and reminded me to pray for the victims that ISIS are beheading. Although, I've read the scripture before, it had not had the impact on me as it did when I read it in light of these current events.
The other issue that came to mind in this scripture was the "mark on their foreheads or their hands." This mark is what end times citizens will have to use to buy or sell anything! Christians are called NOT TO TAKE THE MARK. We don't know now what that mark may look like, but it will be adhered to, injected in, tattooed on or in some other permanent manner put on a person's forehead or hand. If you accept the Mark of the Beast, you are rejecting God.
You may lose your head for refusing the mark, but you will "reign[ed] with Christ a thousand years." Sound crazy now? Maybe, but with the concerns over identity theft and daily news about hackers getting into bank accounts; it will be a simple solution that a world already covered in convenience and tattoos will accept and later regret forever.

Revelations 20:4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

  1. Amen...every word powerful and true and a real reminder that we are approaching the time. Stay in your Word, stay in His presence, stay strong and vigilant and continue to speak the truth of God's Word.

  2. You are so right on. The identity crisis and security breaches will be a human logical reason to imbed some type of mark/chip to protect and identify ourselves. If we refuse, we will have no other way to conduct business. One world order....will it be that easy to recognize as prophecy? And will we be here to witness or will the rapture happen first? Based on the scripture you quoted, I would say no. It would be for those left behind after the rapture.

  3. It's so exciting as a follower that we may get to actually experience Christ's return!! Only He has the power to save us, especially from ourselves and the evil one whom he declawed and detoothed.
