Saved

     I was working on a computer program and had not saved my writing. Of course this was about the time I got curious about a button on the screen I hadn't noticed before. I pushed the button and poof my screen disappeared! After some unkind words and thoughts, then asking God for forgiveness for my wayward words and thoughts, I hit the "escape" button since now I had the spinning wheel. The "escape" button took me back to my previous screen, but none of the information I had typed was there. I had to start over from the beginning.
     It struck me, if you are not "saved" you keep going back to your old ways, no matter how hard you try to "escape" them. Being "saved" changes everything. You no longer have to sit by waiting for your life to spin out of control. Once you call on Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sins, come into your life and be your Savior and Lord, your soul is saved from an eternal life void of God. Your past sins are erased and you are free to live unburdened from guilt and shame. Being saved is your way of escape!

I Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.
