Life Goes On.
It's amazing to me how quickly life goes by. One day I was in high school thinking everything was about me and the next I was over 50 years old looking back at how many people had influenced my life over the last 30 years! In the midst of the trials over the years, it seemed like time had stood still, yet in the happy moments it was as if time had wings.
Recently, a couple people noted an impact I had had on their lives and it humbled me to think that something I had done or said without thinking about it had made such a difference in someone's life. Then I was struck with intrepidation, thinking about the careless things I have said and done which have possibly left others reeling.
This reminded me of why God tells us to seek His Face and write His Words upon our hearts, since the looks we can give and words we can say in the flesh, as humans, are not what a lost soul needs. They need a Savior and we're not Him, but if we stay close to Him, we can pass on what we have learned and the Holy Spirit is willing and able to intervene as needed in all circumstances.

Jeremiah 31:33New International Version (NIV)
33 “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel
after that time,” declares the Lord.
“I will put my law in their minds
and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.

I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
Seek him first and it will be easier to be like him.
