Arguing

I was watching the news with my husband at lunch today and I just wanted to scream, "Quit arguing!" Our politicians are spending so much time on petty infighting that I can't imagine they have much time for the people of our nation they are supposed to represent. Rather than worry about how they might get elected again, how about doing the job they were initially elected to do?
Let's apply the motto of many schools, "Do the right thing because it is the right thing to do." Some of you may say, "Well, what is the right thing?" I believe we all have a conscience that will tell us what is right, if we are willing to listen to it. Should I steal? No. Should I harm others? No. Should I break the law? No. Should I give to those in need? Yes. Should I help those who are hurting? Yes. Should I abide by the laws of the land? Yes.
It's time we take back responsibility for helping govern our own nation by abiding by the laws and rules already in place. Let's choose to be peaceable, helpful, and do our own part to make America what we want it to be. We can't wait any longer for someone to do it for us, as those in power seem to be too busy arguing about who should be in power rather than how to us their power to make our country and its people healthy, wealthy, and wise.
Job 6:25
How forceful are right words!
But what does your arguing prove?
