Time is Running Out

As I sat in the small, quiet room, I could hear my Timex watch ticking away. A thought came to my mind...How many people die every second around the world? According to www.ecology.com,
"nearly two people die each second." It is troubling to think of all the seconds that I waste each day. Each of those wasted seconds represents the end of two people's purposes, paths, and presences in their homes, communities, and the world.
The good news, according to www.ecology.com is that there are "Four births each second of every day." So essentially, two people are added to the global population every second. The World Population Clock on www.worldometers.inform/world-population noted that so far in 2018 there are approximately 7.6 billion people in the world.
As a Christian, my heartfelt desire is that all these individuals will give their lives over to Jesus Christ. That one day, when their seconds are up, they will have asked Christ to save their souls. It is too difficult to think that each tick-tock of my Timex would mean two souls were lost for all eternity.
Time is running out for all of us, but God made it easy for us to live infinitely timeless lives in heaven. In the Bible, the book of Ephesians, chapter 2 and verses 8-10, the scripture says, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
To receive God's gift of eternal life, through the death and resurrection of His Son, Christ Jesus, you simply need to believe Christ died for your sins, rose from the dead three days later, and sends His Holy Spirit into the hearts of those who ask Christ to forgive them of their sins and become their Lord and Savior. It's free, easy, full of grace and love, and never expires, unless you do and your last second ticks off before you accept His life-giving offer.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-2
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die...
