Forgiveness for All
As a Christian, one thing I wanted to share with you today is how to know you’ll go to heaven one day. I would love to be reunited with all my friends, family, and fellow believers in eternity and if we all go to heaven that will be possible. I wasn’t a believer in Jesus Christ much of my life, but once convicted at 25 years old, He made all the difference in my life.
If you decide you would like to accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior and Lord and be ensured of having your name written in the Book of Life for eternity, you can simply pray/say the following: Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you are the Son of God, I believe you died on the cross and rose again, taking the sins of the world and my sins to the cross with you. Thank you for dying in my place as a living sacrifice and I ask you to come into my life, forgive me of my sins, and be my Lord and Savior. Amen. If you believe and declare that statement, you will be born again (meaning being born now in the spirit vs. just the physical body) and when you pass from this life, you will be with the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven forever.
There are no sins God won’t forgive, as long as you admit them to Christ, and ask for His forgiveness. We are all sinners, saved by grace, God’s grace. Romans 3:22 tells us, “This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”
Isn't it great that we don't have to get it right, because Christ already did it right for us? Now, we are simply called to believe by faith and we will be saved from eternal death to eternal life. We need no other human intercessor on our behalf since Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord, was sent by God for us, so that through Jesus's sinless life and death and resurrection over death, we sinners could have eternal life and a personal relationship with God.
If people have turned you off from God because they didn't act "Christ-like" toward you or others, just remember they are mere mortals, regardless of who they may tell you they are, only Christ Jesus can save you from your sins and He will do it without condemnation or intimidation, because His sole purpose for leaving heaven and walking this earth was "to seek and to save the lost" (Luke 19:10).
You don't have to play hid and seek from God. He is everywhere and knows everything anyway. Just repent by admitting you haven't been seeking Him, haven't been living the life you know He would want for you, and you haven't accepted His sacrificial gift of His Son, Jesus Christ. Salvation is a gift, to be received if you choose it. He will not force it upon us. Speak and He will hear you, if you ask Him to forgive you of your sins and renew a right spirit within you. God loves you, He really does and His love is full of grace and mercy and forgiveness for all our sins, past, present, and future.
1 Corinthians 15:53-54 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory."
